Compact 6-slice CT in the Siemens Emotion family, shipped broadly into community, emerging-market, and small-hospital installations during the 2000s and early 2010s. Emotion-series systems are engineered around a smaller footprint, lower connected power load, and reduced capital cost relative to the Sensation family — the two product lines addressed different ends of the clinical market simultaneously. Emotion 6 was the entry-tier configuration; Emotion 16 was the step up within the family.

Platform characteristics
