Current-generation Hologic mammography platform. Successor to the Selenia Dimensions 3D. The tomo acquisition is faster (2.5 seconds vs 3.7 on Dimensions), the detector is updated, and the compression paddle includes the SmartCurve curved contour that many patients find more comfortable.

Clinical positioning
Current OEM production. Buyers: new mammo installs + sites upgrading from Selenia Dimensions for faster tomo + SmartCurve comfort + newer AI capabilities. Refurb market thinner than Selenia Dimensions (still in active production).
Relationship to Selenia Dimensions
Selenia Dimensions chassis + 3Dimensions chassis are related but not identical. Some parts (paddles, some cables) may cross-compat but detectors and tube-head assemblies differ by generation.
