Why it matters to buyers: ASiR license is a major value driver on refurbished GE CT — a VCT with ASiR is meaningfully more capable than one without.

Why it matters to engineers: Licensed separately from hardware. VCT XT ships with ASiR; base / Select variants may or may not have it.
