GE HealthCare's deep-learning MRI reconstruction — the defining software feature on the current Signa MRI family (Artist 1.5T, Explorer, Voyager, Premier 3T, Architect 3T, PET/MR). Convolutional-neural-network-based reconstruction that reduces scan times up to ~50% or raises image quality at matched scan time. Complements AIR Coils on AIR Edition configurations.
Why it matters to buyers: AIR Recon DL is a headline GE MRI feature. A Signa Premier or Signa Artist without AIR Recon DL licensing runs prior-generation reconstruction and delivers materially slower throughput / lower image quality at matched parameters. License status is a primary acceptance-test item.
Why it matters to engineers: AIR Recon DL is DL inference on dedicated reconstruction hardware. Reconstruction timing, inference GPU health, and model-version tracking are AIR-Recon-DL-specific commissioning items. Paired with Sonic DL on cardiac / body sequences.
