GE Gemstone Clarity / Performix HD X-ray Tube
GE HealthCare's CT tube family for Gemstone-detector-era platforms. Performix HD shipped on the Discovery CT750 HD alongside the Gemstone detector; Gemstone Clarity is the current-generation tube on Revolution CT / HD / Apex. Pairing the fast-afterglow Gemstone scintillator with a tube generation capable of supporting fast-kVp-switching (GSI) dual-energy is a single engineering package; Performix HD / Gemstone Clarity can switch kVp rapidly enough for GSI.
