Systems
Every medical imaging system has its own System Card. XRAYN follows a strict one-card-per-variant rule: any model difference that changes specs, detector, chassis, generator, or licensed features gets its own card.
How to browse
- By modality — Modalities directory or the modality MOC pages (CT, MRI, Interventional X-Ray)
- By manufacturer — Manufacturers directory (GE HealthCare, Siemens Healthineers, Philips, Hologic, Varian)
- Graph view (⌘G in Obsidian) — visual relationships across families, variants, and parts

Entity conventions
- System (variant) card — a single model / trim / licensing tier. Example: Philips Azurion 7.
- System-family card — aggregates variants and documents shared platform characteristics. Example: Philips Azurion (family).
- Both entity types cross-link aggressively to manufacturer, modality, parts, field guide, glossary terms, and clinical applications.
