Scalable Data Acquisition Sub-System. Reads detector signals and digitizes. Failures show up as image artifacts more than as hard errors.

• Ring artifact → isolate to a DAS slice via detector calibration
• Banding → cable or backplane before board
• Intermittent noise that worsens during the day → chiller first, DAS second
